Nevermine.

Nevermine.

I don’t think you’ll understand.
I don’t think you can.
Every time I drop love down
you take the first train out of–
the city is such a waste.
With no one here but me and ten thousand
others looking for the same thing.
Look what I found.
Nevermind, you’re never around
to see the good things
or my angel wings.
You know I don’t care–
Okay I do, but telling you wouldn’t be fair.
I have to be cold and callous.
I have to be bold and jealous.
I have to sleep with honesty
and give it to you regularly.

No.
I’ll shut up
when you listen to me.

China’s Social Credit System

China’s Social Credit System

A quick, interesting video about how China has been using AI, Big Data and surveillance to openly implement a “social rating” of its citizens. This video is from 2019 and since then China has rolled this out to more of its cities.

Some of the details covered in the video…

They also mentioned a “debt shaming” app that will let you know when someone around you is in debt.

I share this, after recently talking with someone about the personal freedoms we’ve been asked to give up for the Covid-19 pandemic, how long we might have to continue and what else might forced on us. This truly is a Black Swan event and we need to keep a closer eye on our corporations and politicians, moreso than usual.
